Sinharaja Rain Forest
Sinharaja Rain Forest is Sri Lanka’s last remaining stretch of lowland tropical rainforest and a UNESCO World Heritage Site of exceptional ecological value. The thick canopy, forest streams, and rich biodiversity combine to make Sinharaja an ecologist’s living laboratory of endemism among plants, birds, and insects. Guided walks through Sinharaja can best be described as immersive experiences in which nature reveals herself slowly through sounds, movement, and often subtle detail.
